The gaming industry in Romania reported, in 2018, a turnover of over 188 million dollars, increasing by 19.2% compared to the previous year, and the forecasts for 2019 are even more optimistic, according to the latest report published in November 2019 by the Romanian Association of Video Game Developers (RGDA).
The attractiveness of this entertainment industry, which has developed even in times of recession, has led to a doubling of game producers in recent years, and more and more studios have focused heavily on product development. At the same time, the jobs in the field of video games have experienced an accentuated diversity, creating new roles and responsibilities.
